Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure & Automation

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team supporting a large-scale, high-availability cloud environment. You’ll work across web, application, and database tiers to design, build, and support Azure-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and resilient.

You’ll play a key role in cloud migrations, automation, and production environment support, collaborating with developers and support engineers to ensure smooth delivery and stability of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.

• Manage infrastructure deployments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).

• Automate recurring operational tasks with PowerShell and scripting tools.

• Support system monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting for production environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing cloud solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in Azure infrastructure or cloud engineering.

• Hands-on experience with multi-tier architectures (Web/App/DB).

• Strong working knowledge of Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, Networking).

• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

• Experience with cloud migrations and production support.

• Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security in Azure.

Desirable

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with cost optimization and monitoring tools.
